"We have had two or three conversations with West Ham and I plan to speak with them again," added Joorbachian. "They are £31 million in debt. Any package would have to be worth £70 million but would have to take into account that debt.
"I want to buy a Premiership club and West Ham seem the most likely because they are in London and the price would not be too prohibitive." |

Pardew said:
"We were frustrated at not being able to sign Adebayor because he wanted to come here, but Monaco had a change of heart."
"I am a great believer in fate and when one door closes, another one opens. We have got other targets and are in the process of bringing in another striker. "
"We have set our sights high because we already have quality at the club in the shape of Marlon Harewood, Teddy Sheringham and Bobby Zamora. "
"There's no point in me signing another striker if they are not on a level or better than the ones I have already got. "
"Any player that is in the mould of Fredi Kanoute, we would be interested in signing." |

| Newcastle United chairman Freddy Shepherd has insisted the club have no intention of selling midfielder Jermaine Jenas. |
Tottenham are reportedly ready to make a move, amid suggestions that the midfielder has expressed concerns over his prospects of securing regular football, following the signing of Scott Parker and soon arrival of Emre.
The 22-year-old has earned international recognition following his move to Newcastle and Shepherd believes it would be madness to allow a rising star to slip through the net.
"We're not in the business of selling our best players and JJ definitely falls into that category," said Shepherd.
"Graeme Souness made him captain when Alan Shearer was injured last season and I would imagine he's a leading candidate to take the armband on a permanent basis once Alan retires. That's how highly he's rated here.
"There's been no contact at all from Spurs but even if there was, they would be wasting their time." |
Tottenham are reported to of had a £6m bid for Newcastle United's Jermaine Jenas rejected by the Toon Army, the bid was mooted to be a swap deal involving Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane
|
Spurs would have to up there offer for the midlfielder to over the £10m mark if a deal is to be agreed, though Newcastle are said to want to keep the player.
The Mirror newspaper says Jenas, who worried about his future at St James Park with the signing of Scott Parker and imminent arrival of Inter Milan star Emre, would be interested in the idea if he is allowed to leave the club.
